The work on the corset is amazing and beautiful, but dang the model looks anorexic. Tell the poor woman it's ok to eat food and weigh more than 100 pounds. :/ Looking at the editorial, I can see she's practically nothing but bone. Makes me kind of sad.
Thank you for the compliment. I do think it's not right to judge people based on their look, whether slim or fully figured. It's not because a girl is slim that she doesn't eat, there are many factors involved when it comes to body shape.
I have a couple friends who are rail-thin, and can't gain weight no matter what they eat, and it tends to be a condition of premature birth. Both women also have an extremely flat figure and narrow bone structure, and one of them gets mistaken for a boy more often than not. So yes, considering the woman in the photos has a fully shaped figure, based on what I have seen and learned so far, she does look starved. Whether that's true or not, probably only she knows, but it's fairly common knowledge that a lot of models DO practically starve themselves. I'm not so much judging her as I am mainstream media for showcasing almost nothing but girls who are skin and bone as the ideal of perfection and beauty. Granted in this case it looks like the attention is meant to be more on the clothes instead of her, but it's kind of distracting when even a corset is loose on her.
Just because she's skinny and has a flat chest doesn't make her anorexic. While in this line of work, odds are she is, there are plenty of people who do have that body type and are perfectly healthy. Several shots in the editorial clearly show that she her hips are far wider than her upper half, instead of the allover lack of fat characteristic of mild to severe anorexia.
